So as you all know, I’m not booking sessions at the moment as I am about to begin teaching in just over a week! I decided that I would spend my last few days of holidays with my amazing family. On Thursday, I had my gorgeous twin cousins over for a sleepover then the following day we headed to the creek with my sisters for a picnic. We had such a great day! Here are a few of my fav shots.

Isn’t this little man just gorgeous? He came to visit me a few weeks back with his mummy and aunty and was such a good boy! I was very surprised how awake and aware he was at just 7 days old – such a cutie!

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing this beautiful little family on the surf side of Bribie Island. We could not believe how windy it was though! I think they did a fab job putting up with the wind and at the end of the day, we got some absolutely beautiful shots!

As many of you know, I have been training to become a primary school teacher for the last 4 years. I have finally graduated and will be teaching prep/preschool during 2012. I am incredibly excited to be starting this new chapter of my life but this unfortunately means that my little business will be in holiday mode for a little while.

At first I had thought that I could have the best of both worlds, but for me to be the best teacher I can possibly be, I need to leave my photography behind for the moment. This will be an incredible time for me to learn and grow professionally outside my business so that I can come back stronger than ever. I will however continue to update my blog with wonderful photographs!

I appreciate all of the kind words of support that I have received this past year and treasure the friendships that have formed thanks to my business! This is not the last you will hear from me – I will be back!

I had the privilege of being the photographer for Mr Jet when he was just a few weeks old last year so I was thrilled when his mummy got in contact for his 1 year old photographs! Isn’t he just the cutest little man?!

I absolutely love photographing families and for this particular session, I got two gorgeous little families to photograph! While we did need to bring in the lolly pop as bribery, we got some fantastic shots of each family.

I recently photographed these two gorgeous boys at my property in Narangba! I felt like taking some photographs in the field next door but didn’t have any sessions booked for that day so I made a casting call on my personal facebook page. An old friend from childhood offered her two beautiful little boys so I was ecstatic to see them again!

A few weeks back I had the pleasure of photographing Miss Taylah! We decided to go with a cake smash session for her very special one year old photos – lucky mum wanted some nice photos beforehand because poor Taylah hated the cake and wouldn’t even eat it! Such a cutie and I absolutely LOVE the last photo of tears haha
