Over the weekend, my boyfriend and I took my 6 year old cousins out for a trip! We took them to Alma Park Zoo which is only a couple of minutes down the road from where we live. I hadn’t been there since I was only 2 years old – so you could say I was as excited as the little boys were! The boys were full of interesting facts all day long:
Tom: Did you know that if you stand a crocodile up on its tail, it measures 100 kilometres an hour?
Fraser: No it doesn’t, 100 kilometres an hour is how fast the world spins, Tom!
Fraser: Did you know that wild bats are called wild because in Africa, they kill you but they don’t eat your eyes out? They have to save your eyes for the male bats to eat.
Hehe, they certainly had us giggling all day with their small comments here and there. Anyways, enough chit chat, here are some of my favourite shots from the day!
Thomas was a little bit scared of the Kangaroo’s after telling me that they love boxing people hehe.
I was so excited to see the Lemurs – they’re my favourite animals!
These donkeys were definitely the highlight of the day – you’ll see why in the next photograph……
All of the photographs marked with my copyright symbol will eventually be available for purchase in my etsy store, so make sure you check back regularly if you see something you like =)
